BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
The Catalog function is responsible for developing product visuals, product information and creative descriptions for all SKUs sold by company and uploading them onto the portal. In addition, the function is also responsible for creating visuals for the Marketing Department that are displayed on the Opening page of the portal. The sub-functions in Catalog include Content Development, Art Direction, Photography and Studio Management. The Catalog function is currently 130 strong, with a majority of employees having a Creative background.


The objective of the role is to oversee and ensure achievement of the operational objectives of the Catalog function while continuously raising performance standards and quality of output (content, photography and Art Direction).



RESPONSIBILITIES :
*To edit high quality catalog images and render them in the required format for upload on the portal.

*To enhance raw images using Photoshop in order to make them most appealing yet true to the original product, with an eye for quality and consistency.

*To keep a track of all edited images by filling trackers and following set processes for the task.
