Web Site Designer & Developer Job Description:-
We are searching for experienced Web Designers & Web Developers to be responsible for developing innovative, reusable Web tools for progressive online activism and community building. Our web developers work closely with our manager, strategists and design team members to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. Programming, graphic design and database administration are all elements of this position.
Web Site Designer & Developer Job Purpose: Develops Web sites by planning and executing design; maintaining and upgrading service.
Web Site Designer & Developer Job Duties:
Plans site structure by clarifying goals; designing & developing functionality.
Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content.
Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists; designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
Prepares site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.
Upgrades site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.
Protects site by designing and installing security precautions.
Maintains site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards; editing submissions.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
Skills/Qualifications:
Web Designing & Developing Skills :-Expertise in HTML, CSS, DHTML, PHP, Flash, xml, java script, Photoshop, CorelDraw, Jquery, netbean editor, SQL Web Graphic Design, Web User Interface Design, Web Programming Skills, Multimedia Content Development, Understanding Browser Capabilities, Verbal Communication
Educational Qualification:- Diploma Certified/ Under-Graduate / Post-Graduate in related field, or significant equivalent experience.
