Rajasthan Postal Circle Recruitment 

Government of India, Department of Posts, Rajasthan Postal Circle, Jaipur invites applications in the prescribed format for direct recruitment of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant, Postman and MTS Cadre under Sports Quota. The last date for submission of applications is 23rd September 2016.

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)	09	₹ 5,200-20,200 (Pay Band-I) + Grade pay of ₹ 1,800 plus admissible allowances

Age Limit (as on 23/09/2016): Between 18 to 27 Years for Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant/ Postman; Between 18 to 25 Years for MTS.

Educational Qualifications:

For Postal / Sorting Assistant -> Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination.

For Postman -> Matriculation from a recognized Board or University.

For MTS -> Matriculation or ITI from a recognized Board.

Note: Candidates with higher education are also eligible but they have to fulfill the requirements. There are no bonus marks for higher education.

Sports Discipline: Volleyball, Table Tennis (Women), Athletics (Men/ Women), Chess, Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi (Women).

Sports Qualification: The candidates with the following qualifications shall be considered meritorious for the purpose of recruitment under sports quota.

(a) Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in required sports/games.
(b) Sportsmen who have represented their university in the inter university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in required sports/games.
(c) Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in concerned sports/games.
(d) Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Application Fee: All the Applicants have to pay an application fee of ₹ 100/-  in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, in favour of “Chief Postmaster General, Rajasthan Circle” payable at the Post Office “Jaipur GPO, Jaipur-302001”. Original Indian Postal Order must be enclosed with the duly filled application form.

Exam Fee: The Examination Fee only the Applicants who are called for selection/field trials will have to pay an examination fee of ₹ 400/-. SC/ST and women candidates are exempted for payment of exam fee.

How to Apply: The application in the Prescribed format, completed in all respect may be sent to ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (STAFF), O/O THE CHIEF POSTMASTER GENERAL, RAJASTHAN CIRCLE, SARDAR PATEL MARG, C-SCHEME, JAIPUR-302007. The application along with attested copies of requisite certificates should reach on or before 23/09/2016. The envelope containing the application must be super-scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF POSTAL/SORTING ASSISTANT/ POSTMAN / MTS IN RAJASTHAN POSTAL CIRCLE UNDER SPORTS QUOTA”.
