Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Staff Selection Commission, Southern Region has published a notification at sscsr.gov.in for recruitment to various Group-B & Group-C (Non-Gazetted, Non Ministerial) posts. Last Date for submission of application is 3rd October 2016.

Scale of Pay:

1. Senior Research Assistant – PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

2. Senior Technical Assistant – PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

3. Assistant Epigraphist – PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

4. Textile Designer – PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

5. Court Master – PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

6. Tubewell Operator – PB-I 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2400/-

7. Farm Assistant – PB-I 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2400/-

8. Junior Chemist – PB-I 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2800/-

Age Limit : Upper age limit is 30 years for Technical Superintendent & Textile Designer and 25 years for Technical Assistant as on 24.08.2015.

Education Qualification:

a) Senior Research Assistant – Candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution

b) Senior Technical Assistant – Candidate must hold a Degree In Agriculture with Post Graduation in Agronomy/Plant Breeding /Genetics of a recognized University or equivalent

c) Assistant Epigraphist – Candidate must posses Master’s degree in Tamil /Malayalam / Telugu/ Kannada with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor’s degree level OR Master’s degree in History with Ancient Indian History as a subject and  Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.

e) Textile Designer – Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree in Textile Design or Fine Arts with Textile Designs as a subject from a recognized University or Institute with Two years’ experience as a Designer OR Three years Diploma in Fine Arts with textile designs as a subject and Three years experience as a Designer

f) Court Master – Degree in any subject of a recognized University or equivalent with 02 years’ experience in Courts/Tribunals

g) Tubewell Operator – I.T.I Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.

h) Farm Assistant – 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification with a Certificate Course or training in Agriculture with one year experience of work at an Agriculture Farm ; or Candidate must have B.Sc (Agriculture) Degree

i) Junior Chemist – Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Dairy Chemistry/ Oil Technology or Food Technology or Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemistry

Selection Process : A OMR/Computer Based Examination will conducted for the selection of all posts.

Examination Fee : Examination fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one Hundred only) should be pay by candidate either through “SBI Net-Banking/Credit Cards/Debit Cards” or through SBI Challan. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are not required to pay examination fees.
