We are looking for Software Development Principal Engineer with 9+ yrs of working experience with Virtualization,Vmaware,Hyper-V environment with C/C++ Development experience and Linux/UNIX development

SUMMARY
Develops a number of leading data protection solutions for virtualized environments. These currently focus on VMware and Hyper-V and in future will include other hypervisors such as XEN and KVM. The next generation of virtualization protection is currently being designed as part of future platform for data protection.

Primary Responsibilities:
Design, implement and test solutions for virtualization focused software features of varying size and complexity
Follow and understand changes in the virtualization space and use that knowledge to drive innovative solutions
Follow and contribute to the development standards for code, documentation, design materials etc
Embrace learning new technologies and undertaking tasks in unfamiliar areas
Required Skills and Experience:
Significant experience of C / C++ and Linux/UNIX development
Self-starter with good communication skills
Experience of working with virtualized environments, preferably across multiple hypervisors
Hands on experience of programmatic hypervisors control
Desired Skills
Complex client/server software development
Scripting languages, in particular Perl or Python
Windows experience, especially around WinRM, WMI and VSS
Experience or knowledge of the data storage industry
Experience of service oriented or web-service based architectures
Education:
Computer Science degree or equivalent technical degree or relevant experience
